THE SPOT
Ušće Neretve (mouth of the Neretva river) is the best Croatian kiteboarding spot, ideal for all levels of kitesurfers. Large shallow and flat sea area is a proper playground for intermediate to advanced riders, although beginners will also appreciate the conditions for learning.
Our local kiteboarding community “Kiteboarding Komin-Neretva” taking care about kite spot & zone regulations and guests safety, securing rescue boat, basic insurance for all kiters & students, showers, toilets, storage, live cam, wi-fi, etc.

WIND, WEATHER AND WATER
Two wind patterns operate in the area. The Maestral wind comes from the NW, left to right cross-off-shore. Super-consistent, it usually brings nice weather.The Jugo wind comes from the SE, blowing right to left cross-on-shore.
The Jugo wind mainly blows in April and October, regulary reaching force five when you can get some unforgettable wave sessions.

Summer temps range from 24 – 35 C / 75 – 95 F. Take your seven to 12 metre kites. Water temps range from 18 C / 65 F in April, peaking at 26 C / 79 F in August/September.
